Hey gang, new member here! My 01 tundra is having some issues, went into limp mode last week, threw a code for the magnet clutch, put in a new motor and clutch, while I was in there, I replaced the tps sensor. Truck runs with a fluctuating idle, now the code for the accelerator position sensor is showing, replaced that! Truck is still in limp mode ! And it’s still showing the code for the accelerator position sensor! Any help would be greatly appreciated! I also tried to clear the code with the reader and by disconnecting the battery- still there

On that battery disconnect, you pulled the negative cable for no less than 10mins? I'd probably reco 30 minutes myself, but ...

Has the code set itself again? If so, what is it?

Could try cleaning the tps? Heck, clean the whole throttle body.

I cleaned the entire thing, looks brand new! I hoping it’s not the ECM

I also tried to get the ECM to “relearn” how to idle, no difference

Tried that several times, in the process of taking the throttle body off and removing all sensors… again, just to make sure I didn’t screw something up! @shifty` I unhooked the battery for 3 days, still same :( I’ll keep y’all updated, anymore knowledge y’all want to release, I’m all ears… or eyes I guess

What brand TPS did you use? Aftermarket ones can be crap.

Got the old one to throw back on?
