Arming my alarm issue

Hey guys,

I searched the forums and googled my issue and can't seem to really find anything, so here it goes:

It takes me a good thirty seconds and about 15 times pressing my lock button for my truck to engage the alarm. I obviously put in a new battery in the key fob first, and changed out the fob for my second unit and replaced that with a fresh battery too- I also read that it could be my car battery, so I put that on my charger over night and I am still experiencing the issue... any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

 

Just because you put your battery on a charger does not mean it is good. How old is it? Have you had it tested? Is it a keyless ignition?

 

Battery tested as being fine. I’m assuming it’s the original. 2019
