Alright so here’s what we’re gonna do: I’ll be out there this Sunday the 7th to set up camp by the river. If we have a good turn out and collective interest in the 28th, we’ll do that too. Check in on this thread to let me know you’re coming so I can get a little bit of a head count. Let your other off road friends know too. It doesn’t just have to be Tundras (though Jeeps will be judged..)

I invited a guy, with a jeep, he is Air force... German Air Force... Yes he will be judged, as he is at our American Legion post. He will be happy with it. Rienhold is a good dude.

I invited another guy with a Ram... Ram drivers should probably be judged harsher than Jeeps. Tom is a US Jarhead, he will not give any credit to any judgement you send his way.

Let me know what you think we may be short on and I'll get some of it.

Usually about 30 to an hour after my first beer.

But I think I'm going to try to get out there around 8 again. It will depend on if my wife is tagging along this time, which will push my start time out a bit. @FrenchToasty said he'd possibly get out there early though.

@TRDFerguson just curious if this loop is 2wd friendly? I've watched couple videos of the trail i feel i might be more then capable in compleating the loop but I've never been back in that area some sand does make it Sketchy I'm Shane by the way new to the tundra forums.

I went out there for my first time a couple weeks ago. I made it to the beach type area along the river without 4x. But then needed 4x at the beach once I stopped. You could probably make the beach area and back out, if you stayed out of the shore area, but I wouldn't recommend trying some of the other spaces with a 2x. There are some spots where 4x is required after the first spot.

Hey Shane, like Beau already said, the sandy wash and the area by the river might be a little tricky with 2WD, but you should be okay if you keep a little speed moving through. The west end of the loop definitely requires 4x4 and I'd recommend a lift/larger tires for that end. The east end of the loop is basically a dirt road, with a few spots that can get a little rowdy, but all of that should be pretty safe. There are a few spots that are a little tight and might give you some pinstripes, though, just in case you don't want to kill your paint on the 22 just yet :D
