First time going under and taking a look at my leaf springs and I saw these Michelin man looking things… are these suspension air bags? And if so does anyone know what brand?

    They're Sumo Springs

I bought my truck used and found the same on mine. Previous owner must have had them installed.

They come in blue, black, and yellow. I thought I had the black ones until I wrote supersprings and they confirmed for me that 1) they are legit their product and not a cheap knock off and 2) I had the blue ones which is exactly what I wanted. Confirmed that they turn black after a while.
I took a razor and made a tiny slit to see they were the blue ones.

Looks like yours are under load all the time based on the picture. Is there something in the bed? Otherwise looks like the lift blocks are changing the space the Sumos sit in and compressing them. Not necessarily bad just not intended (in a normal setup that picture would indicate there is 500-1000lbs in the bed), aka may ride rough.

Interesting.. I wouldn’t have noticed that had you not pointed it out. There’s nothing on the bed apart from a tonneau cover, bed mat and empty gas tank.

I assume they may be compressed due to the steep slope of my driveway.

Now I gotta check if that’s the case when I get home..

Just for reference the two sets I have installed on stock Gen 2 suspensions the frame would just barely touch or even be a paperwidth from touching. You definitely notice the change on ver speed bumps and cornering it acts like a sway bar. Sumos screw onto their base so if you wanted to temporarily remove them just jack up one side and you can unscrew (twist the top off) the body from the base and see if you like it.

The huge pro of Sumos is no maintenance (no bag to pop or inflate) and major load improvement for hauling near capacity in the bed or a trailer (far less sag).

Just took some pics but it’s dark already so can’t really tell if there is space or not. But parking on the street has some lean towards the passenger side, albeit very slight.

Looks like you got the blue ones. I see a bit of blue in that second picture
