Are there lower cost rear suspensions with equal performance to the TRD Pros?

    Howdy Folks,
I’m looking to put some TRD Pros on the front of my 2016 1794 CM but having trouble finding and affording the Pro rears. Is there a lower cost alternative with equal/better performance or will I be “bastardizing” my suspension if I don’t stay with the Pros?
    Any advice is certainly appreciated!

Look at Fox rear shocks. That way they are all at least by the same mfg. But I don’t think it really matters. Even stock won’t be horrible as the leafs are the same on Pros and non Pros.

Why not change the fronts and drive for awhile? You might have a good combo there.

Thanks for the good advice. I probably won't have the $ to act soon after dropping almost $2K on the front. I'll have time to drive with stocks in the rear and also keep evaluating all the options (maybe if I call Fox they can help too!). Also, since I don't want to sag too much when pulling my boat/trailer and loaded down for vacations, I'll need to figure out if a 1" shackle or air bags are best for my situation.

Just as information, I called FOX and the technical guy told me they don't make an exact match to the TRD Pro for the general public. They do however have something with the same or better performance characteristics (P/N 883-24-006):

Unfortunately, I think these cost more than the TRD Pros!...but might be easier to find.
