Are the mirrors pre wired for turn signals?

I've seen a lot of '01-'13's with the amper signals on the mirrors, and I see a lot of aftermarket mirrors with the flashers on them as well. Would they be plug and play on an SR5? Are the flasher light wires present in the harness already? Seems like a nice little upgrade if they are, and totally not worth running wires into the door if they're not haha.

Bonus question- what about the power fold? Is that pre wired? Thanks!

Turn signal is wired into the existing harness in your truck, some after market mirrors occasionally have the pin wrong so you have to correct that to make it work but majority are wired correctly.

Power fold is only there if your truck came with it, otherwise you have to run that wiring but there are guides and YouTube videos on that.

I put aftermarket signal mirrors on my 2011 SR5 that allowed me to keep my factory heated and power adjust features. I kept my factory housings and replaced just the mirrors.

The wiring to the mirror housing from the door is wired for turn signals. The harness inside the factory (SR5) housing is not. I had to wire the mirror to the housing-side harness. So the door side harness is already wired for turn signals (and heated mirrors and power adjust). If you replace the entire housings and mirrors with Limited or Platinum OEM housings and mirrors, it should be plug-and-play.

I went with just the mirrors that had the signals as well as built in blindspot mirrors, and retained the heated and power adjust features, as I stated above. NOT plug-and-play as I had to run wires from the signal leads to the housing harness. But once that was done, I plugged them in, and they worked (and are still working) great. No additional wiring.

I have no idea on the wiring for power-fold.

    Alot of them
The wiring is there up to the connector, but not from the connector to the mirror leads. When I installed my Muth signal mirrors, I just inserted the wire into the back of the connector and zip tied it to the harness. No issues in 5 years. I'll look for the pictures and post them.

My 2005 or 2014 didn't have turn signal wires to the mirror plug.
I had to run my own from the kickplates, through the door boot and mirror housings.
Same for my custom mirror puddle lights tapped into the driver's floorboard lamp.

It's not that hard, the hardest part is routing the wires through the mirror housing.
You can use a long zip tie to feed wires through the door boot.
If you do this, you might as well run wiring for a puddle light.
And make sure to put connectors inline at the mirror in case the mirror needs to be removed.
If you go this route, MUTH mirrors has wiring instructions on their website, although you need to test your wiring before making connections.
Sometimes, wire colors can change from year to year.

To see if you have existing wiring, you can test your mirror plugs with a DMM and see if they have wiring and/or a feed.

M6 (right) and N5 (left) are your mirror plugs.
You'll need to pull the door panel.
