New to the forum and before joining I snooped and found some guidance on why my Apple CarPlay no longer worked on my 21 SR5. One suggestion was to get rid of the fake Apple FireWire. Get a real Apple product and keep in short (3 ft.). Worked! Thanks

Yup, my alpine unit has that same issue when it is not a genuine Apple cable.
