    Hello good people,

I have a question about apple car play. When I plug in my IPhone to listen to music, the music is so low. I have to turn my head unit up till 50 almost to hear the song while driving. I got the Bluetooth volume on IPhone turned all the way up.. Someone said I had to adjust the volume in the setting in head unit as well? Anyone know how to so this? They stated that there is a volume control as well that needs to be adjusted when you have car play or android auto connected?

    Thanks in advance
    Wolvie

I would look in the manual but this is one of the reasons why the OEM radio sucks.

Make sure your EQ setting on your Iphone is set to “flat”.

Check the build link in my signature.
CarPlay doesn’t use Bluetooth, so those settings won’t apply.
Check the audio source settings on the head unit and make sure the sound levels aren’t turned down there for some reason. Each audio source has an independent set of settings for “equalizer” (bass, mid, and treble).

Also try turning up the volume on the phone itself.

    Coach J,
I tried many things and read owners manuals and still haven't found a solution yet...

Found out why, in setting on your IPhone you need to uncheck sound check..
    Settings/music/then uncheck “sound check”

I don’t have the Apple Music app on my iPhone, but still have the same audio issue.

Glad you found a solution. I’ll have to poke around my phone for something similar
