I have a SwitchPro 9100 installed in my truck, and I’d like to use two of the switches to control the anytime backup/front cameras. Anyone ever make something like this work?

No, but I would like to know if you also needed the Nav override harness during the install of the Anytime Backup Camera so the camera would still be useable even when navigation was on?

Plus it’s made by a fellow member on here and he’s super cool, I talked with him on the phone for almost 20min about it.

I wonder what the difference is between this FRAC harness and the Anytime Backup Camera harness? Is it the fact that one gives you the opportunity to override other features (like navigation) while driving and the other doesn't?

That’s one difference, and in my opinion, a very cool feature to have. I think they both do essentially the same thing in relation to the cameras though. I really like the guy who makes the FRAC harness though, he spent 20min on the phone with me talking about the install and was super helpful. I’ll pay a little extra for that kind of customer service all day!

I have a quick question regarding switch installation for those that have bought the ABC harness and switch without the front camera.

In order to have the switch illuminated when driving, the instructions that were provided give me what appears to be two wiring options. The first one is to connect the blue wire on the switch's harness to the blue wire on the radio's video harness and the gray wire on the switch's harness to the gray wire on the radio's video harness.

The other switch illumination option it appears I have from reading the instructions is to connect both the blue and red wires on the switch's harness to the red wire on the ABC harness and then connect the gray wire on the switch harness to a chassis ground. For those that have done this install, I'm just trying to confirm that either wiring setup will work and that the switch will illuminate when my lights are on.

    Thanks in advance.
