Just wondering if anyone has purchased this at their local Costco. Great price for full synthetic. Only $25 for 2, 5 quart jugs.

I wish my local Costco carried it. Mobil and Chevron are the only two oils stocked. Need to check BITOG for how well it performs, but I bet it will be just fine. Hard to find a bad oil these days as long as it meets the OEM's requirements.

Just remembered full synthetic actually means nothing and is just a marketing term these days. They can take a conventional oil and sprinkle a little synthetic in and call it a full synthetic legally.

Synthetic is group iii or higher, any group I or ii in the oil cannot be called synthetic.
The Kirkland oil is dexos 1 gen 2 approved, this specification actually means it is quite good oil.
In addition I am not aware of any conventional oils that meet dexos 1 gen 2 approval, they are all syn blend or full synthetic.

I just did some searching on BITOG. Looks like the oil is produced by Warren Distribution. They make Walmart and Amazon oil too. Everyone seems to like it.

Used it in the wife's mdx. Still haven't done a change I the tundra yet. But as mentioned above it's made by the same company that produces oil for Wal-Mart and Amazon and has the dexos spec. Ordered it on a sale via the Costco website got it much cheaper than I could get anything else at the time. I think f you consider using any cheap bramd of synthetic oil then this would be a top choice
