Seems to be an underrated tire.. at least on this forum. Anyone running these in 295/70r18? I think they would be pretty sweet on the Pro BBS wheels.

For example.. like this, but pro wheels:

I am currently running this tire, not in that size, and have been very pleased with its performance in snow wet and mild off road conditions. It is a very well rounded tire and has been very quiet with minimal wear showing for the 30k miles I have put on them.

275/70/18’s here. Going from an C rating to an E I noted a tad bumpy ride, a slight loss of mpg.
Overall, at 50k, tire is wearing well and has seen all sorts of weather and I have been happy.
If I still have the truck when it comes time to change them, I’ll take a look at what my options are but see no reason why not to stick with them.

Sweet truck, although that's a different tire than what I'm talking about. I have those tires on my pro right now.

My KO2’s got around 70,000 miles, Load Range D, so I’ll probably keep using them but have thought about switching to the Michelins. Can you give any feedback between the Michelins and the KO(2?)’s you have now? Road noise, mpg, etc.?

Sure. Mileage difference was so low I never noticed. Road noise was up by maybe 10-15%. Both are quiet IMO.
Superior traction in sand, mud, rock, ice, and water with BFG. No roadside issues so far with BFG. Had three with Michelin. I'd say the Michelin likely provided better steering feel, but it's no Porsche. Both towed fine. BFG seem to hold pressure better. Obviously some of this is subjective. That's my best opinion thus far.

The Michelin are worthless in the mud, totally will cake over and you'll have a few inches of mud on them. Great on a nice gravel road though.

I've had Defenders on several vehicles and have always been very happy with them. They are my go to when OEM tires wear out. That said, they are not the best for mud. The treads just don't have enough space to allow the mud to be pushed out so they cake up.

I put the Defenders in stock size on my BBS Pro Rims. They replaced the LTX M/S that were on the rims. They have been great so far. Smoothest ride I've had in the truck. I don't go off road enough or near mud to justify the Off Road tires. I'm also stock height so I can fit in the garage.
