Hello all. I have a 2021 CM Limited. Came with 275/55/r20 radials with the standard +60 offset. I am wanting to put on 275/70/r18 (either Toyo Open Country AT3, or, Falken Wildpeak AT3W) and mate them with some Method 701's which are +25 offset. Sticking with Method's because I can get a killer deal. The kicker...I am having to keep stock suspension for now, upgrade in the next 3 month or so.

Any pictures of this combination, especially showing poke as I don't want my tires sticking out too much, as well as fitment advice would be greatly appreciated!! And yes, I've read that posting about largest tire size.

    Thank you so much!

Pretty sure it will stick out only about an inch to inch and half at the very most.

Thanks for your prompt reply. So do you think sticking out 1-1.5” from where the tire currently sits, or, 1-1.5” past the fender? Sorry if that’s a dumb question but just trying to wrap my head around all of this and get a visual.
    Thank you again.

That measurement would be from the flat plane of your rim. If you got wider tires that stick out further than the face plane of your rim, the tires sidewall may stick out past that 1.5 inch. Probably looking at around 3 inches max from your tire sidewall to outside of fender.

I have the same tires on +10 rims....they do poke out a bit and the tires run large compared to other makers.

I had rub on full lock reverse and slight on forward, on plastic flaps etc, no major issues. Most of it has been corrected with removal of flaps and pulling forward.

Even if everyone says they will fit without rub....you never know until you get them on.

I just bought SCS sr8 in +25 and looking into 275/70/18 also. I had some 33x12.5x18 and those rubbed in reverse and in uphill/downhill curved roads. I hope I won’t rub as bad with the 275/70 seeing that it’s skinny compared to the 12.5

    Shouldn’t rub nearly as bad.

I have 275/70R18 with +20 offset. The poke is noticeable I can take some different perspective pictures tomorrow and post them if you want to see more.

They will probably rub on front mud flaps and possibly a little in the front wheel well fender plastic depending on your lift. I’m running 275/70R18 with +25 offset and I rubbed in reverse at full turn with a 2.4” front level. I removed front fenders and did some minor trimming to front fender with a box cutter and no more rubbing.

Mine aren't methods, they are SCS wheels, but these are 275/70R18 Falken Wildpeaks on +25 offsets. FYI, the Wildpeaks run a little large so there is some rub on stock suspension at this size. The little air dams on the front bumper have to come off, and when reversing at about 3/4 turn there is some rubbing on the mud flaps. Nothing major.

Here is 275/70/18 KO2s on +25 offset. Took off air dam and cut a small amount of front mud flap in front of body mount. No lift.D18D0C35-E45D-499E-B720-C9D5B03C5C13.jpg

they’re 18x9 don’t see why not. I have procomp coilovers in the front with about 2” front lift from stock. I tow a travel trailer so the 275 is a better option

Yeah that’s why I’m not sure if I will go with 285’s on my tundra pro. Might stay with 275 so that whey I can run SCS wheels when I get them.
