Replacing the power steering feeder hose, (thick hose, bottom of reservoir, not to be confused with return hose, thinner hose, top of reservoir) looks like PITA. So tight with other engine components to work around by the pump side (reservoir side is no problem). Otherwise, it’s just two clamps on either end but the placement of it seems tricky. Has anyone attempted and been successful?

I poked around some more and discovered the feeder hose and clamp is accessible at the pump by going behind the flap near the passenger front tire. Is it really as simple as removing the clamp, disconnecting the hose, and reattaching a new hose at the pump and reservoir with a clamp on each end? Also, is it normal for the hose to appear disconnected at the pump, doesn’t even look like it’s attached to anything- very peculiar looking???
