Yep, I guess I am lazy but before I go directly to CAD (Carboard Aided Design) I was wondering if anyone else has pioneered this journey? If so pics would be great or even ideas. I have a 37" spare laying flat in the center towards the front already strapped in.

I have all my tools and recovery stuff shoved up front so I need some better mounting method before the SHTF! LOL

I searched here and did not see mention of mounting or pics so I thought I would just post up

Here's what I came up with. Pretty simple to make and holds the jack solid.

My lives in this box that I built in the little front compartment. It is just sitting in there and then I have piled up jumper cables, some ropes, a hard hat, and other miscellaneous stuff around it to keep it from moving. I don't do baja style driving, but I get pretty frisky on some forest roads and I have bounced stuff around in the cab nothing in my bed has enough room to go any where.

I removed stock jack from the original location, modified the plastic and got it to fit!!!!
Stock jack is scary especially on a lifted truck
    Sorry no pictures

Do you by chance have any more pics of this box? I am looking to build something very similar and any head start that you could give me would be greatly appreiciated.

    Thread-Jack incoming!!!

I did not document all that well but here’s a few that I took along the way.

The whole thing was built around my viair compressor a inverter and the husky tool set in one of the pictures. The husky case slides perfectly between the wheel well and the box wall in the middle section and the rear section is dedicated to power related items. The viair compressor is now in my brothers truck and I mounted a knock off arb and will probably be putting a battery where the viair was. Picture #2 shows the horizontal piece that sits tight to the bed rail and I hit 2 of the treaded holes that the bed track would mount to and then there are 4 bolts through the bottom with washers top and bottom. I used a bunch of cardboard and trial and error to get all the contours pretty close.
