I am wondering how they are for , finish and function and if they are a comfortable and useable drop down level. A couple years ago I looked at another brand power running board and they were so low they almost touched the ground on deployment. I am pretty sure they were made for a 6 in. plus lift.

The boards appear to be licensed out to various brands that slap their own label on them with some slight differences. I would look at these or the Go Rhino versions if you are interested. They seem to be priced lower than AMP.

If you search the forums one of the common complaints about these are the motors seizing up. This appears to be more of an issue in snow belt areas.

The RC ones have dual motors unlike the amp. I live in AZ so little to no snow or rust concern's

More points of failure but probably less stress than a single motor.
