Anyone have the factory rock rails they can post up?

I'm interested in the Toyota accessory rock rails given how low profile they look. Can anyone speak to the strength of these? any are they as tight to the rocker panels as they look in pics? in other words, definitely no using them as a step?

 

There is a set for sale but when I went to link it I saw that you already found it.

 

yeah..i'd be willing to pull the trigger, but the seller stated exactly my concerns... that they just don't stick out far enough to function as a step.
