Anyone else with factory android auto that acts crazy during a call?

    I have a 2020 SR5 CM with factory android auto. Starting about a a year ago, I started experiencing strange behavior during calls when connected with my Pixel 6.

    Basically, the call will bounce back and forth between the phone's audio and the vehicle's audio....almost like it's disconnecting and connecting over and over again.

    It's driving me insane; I've tried factory resets on the phone, resetting network settings on the phone, deleting and re-syncing the device from both the phone and headset; nothing has worked. Re-syncing everything seemed like it worked for a short while, but it was quickly back to acting up. I've updated firmware on the head unit, and have obviously made sure I'm up to date on my phone OS. I finally started to accept that it was probably a flaw with the phone itself until I upgraded to a Pixel 7 pro a few weeks ago and....was experiencing the same issue on day one of the phone.

    It only happens in android auto from what I can tell, and does not occur when otherwise attempting BT calls.

    Anyone else experience this? Have you resolved it?
