    ...and get it to work?

Ive got a 500gb Western Digital drive I want to use as a source for music (flac files), but the HU doesnt see the drive. Formatted as FAT32 since the manual doesnt list NTFS as supported.. also tried a double plug y-cable incase it wasnt getting enough power via a single usb plug.

Wondering if the head unit doesnt like the size for some reason, and maybe needs a smaller partition?

what kind of I/O does it have, USB or SATA, Parallel? If something else you might have to find a converter to make what it does put out to USB 2.0 or better standards.

    Drop down to a 32gig
It’s too big for the head unit to process.
Mine was buggy on a 64gig.

Good to know. Ill cut out a 32gb partition and see if it recognizes it then..sort of suspected it was the issue. Reeealllly wish they supported ntfs or extfs!
