I will be installing a 3” suspension lift. Wheels are Method 703s with a +35 offset and 6.20” back space. Haven’t decided to either go with a 34x11.50 or 35x12.50 tire. My question is with a +35 offset wheels, will the tires be rubbing on the frame or rubbing against any other components. If I have to, I’ll do a CMC so I don’t rub at full turn. I want my tires to not poke out that’s why I was thinking the +35 wheel offset. I had a shop tell me that the tires would be rubbing against the frame with the +35 offset wheels. Please help if you have any experience with this of any advice. Thanks!

That’s what I’m wanting to find out, if the tires will rub against the frame while doing a full turn with +35 offset wheels.

May rub the skid plate, which is silly easy to fix.
+35mm is a great offset for max clearance on our trucks. What shop told you otherwise???

Bu to answer your question, yes. A LOT of people run exactly what you’re talking about.

Shit. I did a poor job on that one!

I meant they should work nicely. Every truck is a tad different, due to alignment specs, but it is unlikely that you will have frame contact trouble. Typically the only place people have contact with a high-positive offset (think OEM +60mm) wheel is a wide tire will hit the UCA. Then maybe the skid plate.

It’s lower offset wheels that cause fitment trouble. Stay north of +18mm and you’re typically good. +25 to +30 for a 9” wide and +30 to +35 for a 8.5” wide wheel.

Is anyone running 12.5” wide tires on a +35mm wheel with SPC upper control arms?
