I've seen a few on line but was wondering if anyone here has a behind the grill big screen. I'd like something that is easy to remove and clean. Thanks.

Yeah, I though about doing this but I'm getting ready to move and I don't want any extra screen or stuff to deal with. Plus the nearest hardware store is about a 2 hour round trip.

You can easily order it online and have it shipped to your house?
Saves you a trip to the store.

Ya don't need a large roll call some friends co-worker see if they have laying around before ya buy, or see if a local hardware store can cut to size

Hello! Thank you for the warm welcome.
I have the TRD Pro grill and installed a window screen.
Amazon'ed it for a few bucks shipped to my house.
i used a metal wire and made a frame for the screen and zip tied it to the grill.

    this would work as well..

and here I thought I was being clever, I installed a metal screen behind my grill to keep the rocks from beatin hell outta of my radiator fins. They use gravel here in CO for traction and it beats up the radiator fins pretty good.

I have a 2002 Tacoma with mesh I installed the week I bought it new in 2001. I have to use metal as the area is full of rocks and almost no bugs.
1/4 inch only restricts about 20 percent air flow. Not able to post pictures right now but will on PC later

    A bunch
Dang I spent 14 at Home Depot for that  Gonna put it on this weekend, I'm thinking of using the tabs for the grill to anchor it on the bottom by cutting squares to go over the tabs, should be thin enough to not affect the fit of the grill. Just have to find a way to attach it to the top now.

When you clean the screen, do you remove the entire front grill, or do you just hose it while it is on the truck.
I like the idea, but removing the grill every time you want to clean it would be a PITA.

I assume these screens won't restrict cooling and cause any issues?!
if it is only %20 it should? be ok ...
just curious, what if you are driving very slow in summer heavy traffic and towing?
    any bad experience anyone?
