    I'm sure it can be/has been done. But, I for damn sure wouldn't be drilling into the cab of my truck to do it. Why not get something like a Thule or Yakima cross bar and mount them to that?

    Yeah I’m thinking the same thing. I’d never drill straight into the cab. I should have clarified.

    lots of dents
    Those Daylighters are mounted to the "double single" double Smittybilt roll bar, which in turn is bolted through the bed floor of the truck.

    Can you even get roll bars anymore?

    Done get me wrong, I had one in my 93 pickup.

    Roof racks seem to be the direction people go now.
