Any Video Showing How To Program The Fob Key On The 2014 1794

Hello to all.
Looking for a detailed video explaining how to program the an extra fob key.
I wasn't sure if this could be done with some steps I read on youtube OR a cable is needed to connect a laptop to the truck.

For 2nd gen Tundra's you need techstream and a mini-vci cable from Amazon. Google to find out more.

I just loaded v.13 and cannot find a menu that reprograms the key/fob. I've seen screen shots of v.11 & v.12 that have a "utility" menu but mine is missing that option (or its hiding really well). Hope you have better luck. I'll try again tomorrow and update w/ any success.

 

2014 is the 3rd generation
I tried the steps that were recommended on YouTube without any luck
So I ended up taken it to to friend who’s an auto electrician and got it done through some app on his phone while his phone is connected to another after market fob.
Weird set up.
Works great.

 

FYI, I tried four different versions of the sowftare (2 from the seller provided DVD and two older ones online). Ultimately, the Amazon seller provided a fifth version and it gave me the "Utility" option that allow me to program my 2011 V6 1GR-FE with no problem. So if in doubt, email the seller in the howto doc for support. One thing I still cannot get to work is the OBD II communication.

BTW, I did this with a VirtualBox running Windows 7 32-bit. Now I must need to get me 2nd key cut....and go down-vote all those useless youtube videos telling me to open-close my door a dozen times with my key in/out of the ignition while wishing on a fairy.
