I've been coordinating with the team at Universal Air Suspension in San Bernadino California about producing a replacement rear air suspension system for our Tundras.

Need some help from a forum member in SoCal so the guys at Universal Air can get the measurements and geometry to fabricate mounts and air bags for our Tundras. Please respond if you're able to assist.

These bags would be a direct replacement for the rear coil springs and allow better load carrying capacity and eliminate the need for "helper" air springs.

If you are interested in possibly retrofitting your Tundra with rear air suspension please "like" this post. Your interest will help "motivate" this plan into production.

Spray in Bed liner, 2-10”subs/400w.amp, tailgate shock, Tinted windows, seat covers, dash cover, CatShield, Fuel D538 20”wheels, Husky custom floor mats, TSC tool chest, leather seat covers. Genuine Cooling systems transmission cooler, scan gauge OBD2
We have struts in the front with coil springs, the rear suspension has leaf springs and shocks, at least for the gen 2.5's

Look up at the top where it says ‘Forums > > 3rd Gen Tundras’… They are looking at building a kit for 3rd gen tundras which are indeed coil sprung in the rear. :)

I’m still in 2nd gen territory but am interested to see where this goes. Even still, it would be possible to replace the rear leaf springs with a set of trailing arms that reuse the stock spring hangars, and a set of stout airbags. I’ve thought about it… might need a pan hard bar, too, but it’s possible.
