I'd probably just call or stop in your local dealership on that one.

That's from a local locksmith, nor certain on a dealer cost...

Some dealers won’t program fobs unless they are oem - and usually they make you buy them from their dealership. I have heard of some people buying aftermarket fobs on eBay and having local locksmiths program them…..I did on my titan many years ago and it wasn’t cheap. Around $200 for the fob and programming.

well, what happened is that some raccoons got into the garage the other night and took one key with the lanyard attached to it and while i wasnt happy about it, i had a spare key / fob. come home last night ,put the key on a box in the garage and got up this morning and the wife went to go get the key and she asked where it was and i told her it was in the garage on the box.....the raccoons had grabbed that key also. i just went outside to call the dealership to get a price on a key / fob / program and i looked down and i found the second key / fob. now i just have to find the first one, which i thought would be easier since it has the lanyard attached to it.

Raccoons are smart; we were camping one night in our pop-up. We always slid the cooler under the bed end at night. We awoke to the sounds of the cooler being dragged across the gravel and ice and stuff rattling in the cooler. I carefully and slowly unzipped the window and used my phone flashlight - there was one raccoon literally holding the lid open and two others diving in and out of the cooler to take everything that was in it. We found remnants of our supplies all over the campground the next couple of days.

Campground coons are the smartest. Opening coolers is in their DNA. I camp and trout fish in SE Oklahoma. I had 6 nice trout in a cooler and lost them 1 night to coons. Lid dropping woke me up. I thought putting the cooler right next to the tent would be good enough. I normally put a bungee on lid but got lazy.

when they came into our garage the other night, they dragged a 40 lb of cat food, and were starting to get into it. why would they want the keys with a lanyard attached to it is beyond me ? i put all the bags of cat food and dog foon in the house and had some sunflower seeds that we feed some birds , so i put that in containers. came home last night and put the key on the container and they took it........what is their fascination with keys ?

i had mentioned in a previous reply that i did find one of the keys / fob so i am good now, which is great. i still have to find the first one that has the lanyard attached to it as it has to be somewhere around here, i cant imagine that they took it far.
