I use a Yakima overhaul HD and ski rack for my rods. Works great.

I carry mine in an old Thule adventurer cargo box. Works well for now, but I want to build something on the inside of my canopy to hang them up in the ceiling.

Twin Kayak goes on top of rack and over roof. I cut pieces of PVC pipe for the bed side poles and old vacuum nozzle with a slit for my boy’s pole that sits behind the rear window. Works pretty great for the time being with no money spent

Yeah agreed man, very creative and good ideas too!
Yeah I know it's a dodge but here's one I made decades ago,it's lockable and worked well for many years when I traded it in for the Chevy I told them I'll be back the next day to take the rack off.
Yeah the truck was gone the next day along with my rack!
    Fucking seagulls!

I just roll the back window down, put the reel on the dash and hang the rod out the back. Been doing it this way for years. Only from spot to spot. Otherwise I break down completely (fly rods, so they are long).
