Any expectation of better quality trim after mid cycle models?

My truck only has 15k miles and the interior already rattles and shakes and the flimsy, cheap trim pieces drive me crazy. Even my detail guy just remarked how surprised he was coming from Toyota. And don’t get me started on the wind noise, worst of any vehicle I’ve ever owned.

So is there any expectation that the 2026 models after the mid cycle refresh might have better quality trim, fit/finish? And fix the wind noise?

As a lifelong Toyota guy, I’m just optimistically hoping that they get back to the build quality that made the Toyota name noteworthy. If they do, I’ll trade this one in for a new one. If not, I’m moving on. I didn’t pay the Toyota premium for lesser quality.

I think it's anybody's guess at this point what will change on the refresh as far as fit/finish goes. They might even fix some things but then introduce other issues, who knows. Everything in general anymore is just becoming cheaper quality and more expensive. Cars, appliances, tools, you name it. Unfortunately, none of the other truck brands are really any better. They all have their problems.

Man, that’s sad. I always thought Toyota bucked the trend.
