    The truck we bought last week only had one fob and I noticed a little sticker on driver side rear window that I peeled off. I don’t think the second fob is coming anytime soon and sales guy had no idea.

    I'll ask again here, since I never got a response in one of the other threads, but has anyone reprogrammed a Toyota smart key from another vehicle to a tundra, or any other vehicle?

    I have a smart key from an older LE 4Runner sitting in a drawer somewhere around here.

    Did some quick research on this last month when I heard about the credit card fobs for Lexus, our trucks have an Smart Key ECU that doesn't appear to be in use in other models yet.

    [Edit]Might have to research further now, the part # appears to be 89990A (https://parts.toyota.com/p/Toyota_2...SSEMBLY---SMART-KEY/114920050/899H00C020.html) and I see one popped up on ebay for an 05-09 Prius https://www.ebay.com/itm/204034935186 but those fobs are ugly lol[/edit]

    How about this idea… Since we can’t get a second fob how about they give us The app for free for life? That way we can start the truck without the fob, lock/unlock the doors, etc.

    Interesting that some got the second FOB right out of the gate, yet most didn't. Inconsistency like this, devalues the brand.
    What's the story on the bed step, standard equipment or an option ?
