Holy that is an extreme amount of money for a 20 year old truck, especially when you can buy a brand new tacoma for 5g less or even a tundra for 5g more.

    $55k+ for a 2021
    $65k+ for a 2022

For $30k you get a truck that's built better and will last longer for half the cost. Can probably talk em down too.

I'm not seeing pristine 2nd gens for $35k under 30k miles.

Vs Tacoma?? You get way more "truck" with the 1st gen Tundra. The low-end torque difference alone makes it incomparable. The engine is better, truck size is better, less stuff breaks.

I tell ya if I had the money I'd buy it and drive it for the next 20 years.

What new Tundra can you buy for $35k right now? I'd be surprised if you can find a Tacoma for that either.

But your point is valid that $30k for this one is high.

As of last week a brand new tundra at the dealer is going for $72k lol

they had a brand new 4Runner for $75k which I cannot understand.

a 2021 sequoia with 27k miles was going for $72k.

The problem I see with these is that if you drive it beyond once in a while, you’re taking away a lot of what makes it special.

And for a Sunday stroll, there are other options.

It’s awesome for sure. But a Porsche or bmw would be more fun as a Sunday driver.

A truck you can’t use is just a big piece of history.

    I do like it though.

Talk the guy down to $20K. Buy it. Get into a fender bender and your insurance totals it out because KBB says its only worth $9K.

(a similar thing happened to me years ago)

You can barely get a first gen Tacoma with 200k for 20 these days.

Low miles doesn’t equal less problems. I’d take the 03 Sequoia I just bought my wife last week with 125k miles for $7200. After $3k in tires, new leather, and a few parts that will be a steal compared to that truck.

But as others have mentioned there isn’t much out there to choose from that hasn’t been beat on. New prices are stupid crazy. I will say this my new to me 04 DC and the 03 Sequoia are both built better than the 17 Limited Crewmax and 18 Platimum Armada we just sold.

That's actually a damn good deal with only 125k on the clock. Have you already posted outside/inside pics and a before/after soles and leather?

No but I can. I just got it. Parts are on order and I’m still debating the leather, but will probably do it since I got it so cheap. Funny thing is we’ve test drove a bunch from completely ragged out to nice and they all drove great. They’re so well built to me.
