    I have a tundra 2000 8cil. 4.7
    When i turn on my truck starts 1200 rpm and then goes down to 1000 rpm i think is very fast and i want to know what the normal rpm is on Toyota tundra? Or how can i slowdown?
    Please help me!!

    Normal... Usually drops to just below 1000 RPM when its warm like 700-800 RPM...

    previous cleaned tbi and then increase the rpm.

    from your explanation, no. It is usual for an engine to rev high when cold, around 1200 RPM, while it starts warming up it will drop to 1K RPM and will further fall below to about 800.

    If you start it and it revs below 1K RPM or above 1200 RPM and start surging, then you would have a problem.. Maybe someone with a 4.7 could give you more insight.
