Hi there, I was just wondering if anybody else has been experiencing this problem. I have a 2022 Toyota Tundra and have been using my paired android phone using android auto wirelessly. Very randomly my phone disconnects from the headunit and i lose my audio, as well as my navigation when it is in use. If this happened once or twice it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but it seems to be happening more.

I've had it happen but it seems to be in places where there's some kind of interference. In other words, repeatable in certain locations.

That's weird. Very frustrating at times. My family were on a roadtrip pulling our camper last year through Portland when it began disconnecting and connecting while trying to use maps for navigation. Very irritating.

I found a thread on Reddit about Car Play connectivity issues in 22/23 owners, but at least a couple of people chimed in saying Android Auto has a lot of problems for them and/or disconnects often. I know those are anecdotal reports and it looks like both are from roughly a year ago, but it seems to be a somewhat common problem. Has there been a recent software update to either your phone or your head unit?

yes and yes. But to be honest, one of the dead places is extremely close to the DFW airport so...

same for me. There was a stretch of road for about 2 miles where AA would drop and not connect back until i passed it.

After 6mo randomly no more dead spot.
