Looking to finally purchase these steps next month for my 2018. Where are you guys seeing the best prices for these? From what I read I won’t be able to use the plug and play which is ok with me.

I have had the AMP Reseach Power steps for 4 1/2 years. Can't help you about purchase, my seller no longer carries them..I installed with included harness and tapped into wires..The hinges need to to constantly lubed, new control module & drivers side motor both replaced under the 5 year warranty, passenger side motor getting noisy, winter is not friendly to these. I see now they offer PowerStep Xtreme good for winter.. I would call them and ask about the plug and play thru the OBD connect..

Thanks for the help guys. I’m currently doing some research on which kit to get. I didn’t know they had multiple options. I don’t see myself needing the smart steps. I do live it Chicago and I feel the extreme would benefit due to the harsh winter and road salt we have here 5 months out of the year. Will definitely post what I ended getting.✌️
