Quick question... I had Amp power steps installed on my 22 Limited Crewmax... after install the boards will not "function" on door open / close. Verified tap wires etc...
Steps move when manually triggered... so initial thought was the ODB interface was bad. Just got a replacement in today, and are having the same issues. I have Carista, and had made a few minor tweaks (seat belt alarm, blinker flashes, fake engine noise .. etc.. but reset everything back to default while waiting for the new ODB module... Is there any way that by adjusting some of the settings in Carista is causing issues with Amp steps? (I can't see how... but never hurts to ask)

Question: Any one on here have AMP power steps, and used Carista? Anyone have similar issues, and if so what was the resolution? Shop currently waiting to here back from Amp...

I have the OEM ones as they were part of the Advance Pack, I have made all sorts of Carista changes with zero ramifications. 2022 1794 with advance pack

Solved - was an issue with the cheap wire taps they provide... (aka loose wire)... lol
