Is there a way to turn the external AC power to always on? I've read that it puts out 100W in drive mode and 400W while parking at idle. Looking to get creative while tailgating and camping and not wanting to run the vehicle.

Also in this category, has anyone looked at swapping out the NiMH batteries for LiON?

I have a Carista coming too I can mess with some of the settings too. Loving this truck so far, best i've owned.

    TIA!

Waiting to hear responses, as I’m wanting to power a tv at my tailgate party without packing my Yamaha generator

You would have to have the charging circuit capable of managing the requirements of a lithium BMS. I’m not sure the Tundra is set up for that. The other issue is that the Tundra is managing the SOC and providing current based on a different chemistries’ curve.

If it is measuring current draw, which is likely, you may not gain additional capacity as the Tundra may not let you use it. The first one to do this may be very happy or or very sad.
