I’m going to be going from a +6 offset to a +20 offset. Is it wise to have an alignment done after making this change? I just had wheels/tires put on and had it aligned right after.

What I swapped the wheels, I did not get an alignment. I did not notice any adverse effect.

When I changed out the suspension, I did get an alignment. That's a must for suspension change.

You won't need a new alignment when changing wheels.

    See fine print
I went from 305/65 +12 to 295/70 +25. I had them rack it on the rack just to check my #’s after new setup and it was very close. It might have gone off by .1-.2 at most but I’m not sure if that’s cus of the new setup or just from driving it around.

So my answer is it should be fine but if your ocd like me have them rack it to check your #’s.

    Some suspension tweaks
Depends how anal you are about stuff like that. Sooner or later it would keep me awake wondering so I myself would have it done. I have exact numbers I want my alignment set at though, "in the green" isn't good enough.
    Probably not necessary though.

Thanks. I took it to Brakes Plus on my last one because they said their state of the art equipment would allow them to tell the computer if you have a lift etc and the computer adjusts the setting accordingly. I don’t know enough about alignment to tell them what I want.

If you decide to get an alignment, go to someone who will do it right. @ToyTec Lifts deals with lifted vehicles all day, let alone being one of the Tundras.com guys David will be sure it’s setup
