Anyone know if there is an aftermarket alarm system that works with the factory remote. that can be installed that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg?

I opted to not get the 2,000 dollar alarm system that my dealer was offering on my 2024 Tundra. Trying to look into aftermarket options but it looks like every single one has its own remote

I am not familiar with the alarm on the 3rd gen, someone else might be. On the previous gen you could buy the glass break sensor, the horn and a relay and have the dealer turn on the alarm setting to on through a techstream. This what I did on my 2020. It had all the provisions. All I bought was the glass brake sensor, the horn and the fuse box relay for the alarm. Took it to the dealer and they turn it on for me. It was around $200 more or less. The 3rd gen could be the same. I dont see Toyota making various wire harness based on accessories that could be installed across all models.

I checked about a year ago, and Viper alarm install shop said they didn't had compatibility with the new 2022 tundra yet. They could only install it as a standalone separate system...

Compustar alarm dealer said he did had integration with the 2022 tundra, and it would use Tundra key fob etc as usual... And he can override the remote start issue where truck stops when you open the door.... Not sure if all of it was true or he just was hungry for my business.

I didn't end up doing anything as may not keep this truck long... I got fake alarm blinker light from Amazon.

I had Compustar on two other vehicles and they worked flawlessly. Used my iphone to remote start. Highly recommend if they have system for Gen3.
