I love the look of these. Much better than the plain 90’s garbage OEM fob.

    Anyone have these?

    Pro ? Cons ?

Any problems with buttons sticking, case coming apart, transponder problems?

    Thanks

Ive got one. Works perfect. No sticking buttons.
They do attract a lot of lint in the nooks and cranies, so remember that when you pick your color

I love mine, it looks way better than the factory fob. I haven't had any issues, but then again I've only had it for a couple weeks.

I’ve been dying to get one for a while. Never read anything bad about them. I know they’re cheap but I don’t have a lot of money to throw around.

They've got a couple colors on clearance right now for $9.99. I just picked up two - lucked out with a red truck. I already have his Gen 2 climate knobs and they've been nice.

    https://www.ajtdesign-llc.com/onlin...-Tundra-2005-2015-Tacoma-RED-BLACK-p151572985

    https://www.ajtdesign-llc.com/onlin...-2017-Tundra-2005-2015-Tacoma-BLUE-p138600077

ETA: Qty2 discount code will not work with these clearance fobs. I tried and even asked. They won't do it. The two fobs have to be more than $59 for Qty2 code to work. Also, if you only buy one, there isn't free shipping even though the page shows free shipping. You have to buy two to get free shipping.

Just replaced one of my fobs with the AJT. It was a little tricky getting the transponder out of the original but just takes some patience. Works like a charm.

With it installed, do you know which side has the buttons just by feel? I don't know about anyone else, but when I pull my key out of my pocket, I have to look at it because the toyota emblem on the back tricks me into thinking it's a button. With previous vehicles, the back was smooth and I didn't have to look at the fob every time to use it.

have had my lime green one for about 2 months now, doesn't get used a whole lot but no issues or color issues. the buttons are very prominent just by the way the molding of the case is where the buttons are. to me anyways.

Thanks. Finally scooped one up. $13 is a hell of a lot better than $33.

It’s says up to 2017 on the site. Will they work on my 19?

Doubtful, it wont work on my 18 either because of the integrated key/ fob. This is for the trucks with separate key and remote.

Yes. I have a 2019 Tundra. It works. Just watch the video..you have to cut out the sensor on the key fob. Works perfect an I love mine.

Unless you aren’t talking of this model of fob.

Purchased mine earlier this year for my 2016 tundra. Great quality. No issues as of yet. I think it’s slightly over priced but I hated the old school style fob that I had so it’s well worth the price.

Thanks for all the feedback. Sounds like a solid product. I have an ‘18 so discount won’t work but great link.
Not sold on the price just yet. Might hang around for a group buy or discount.

Yes that type of key is what I was referring to. Those covers arent the ones on sale though, which is what I thought the quote I attached was asking.

I've had mine for over a year now....I have trouble with the unlock button at times not responding to 2 pushes for the passenger door....I'm guessing it might be the battery going south.....

Have you tried changing the setting in the truck to open all doors with one push to open all doors? Then you don't have hit the button twice. Unless you're worried about stalkers getting in your truck with you when you open all four doors, then I wouldn't change it. ;)

I’d love to have all the doors unlock on one push. How do you change the setting for this?

I love the one that I have for my truck. At this price I am thinking about getting a second one. I like the looks and feel of these better than the stock fob.
