    hi there.

I recently got a 2022 tundra and I would like to move my camper to this truck.

has anyone else done this and what airbags would you guys recommend if so?

I've used air bags in the past but decided to try SumoSprings and I'm very happy with the results. Also the installation is much easier than dealing with air lines.
I'm towing a 24 ft., 5,200 lb. dry weight travel trailer.

I’ve seen quite a few guys add air bags to their 3rd gens. The coils give a nice ride but can be a little soft for towing and hauling. I run airbags on my 2nd gen and prefer the Firestone Ride Rite kit. Simple, robust, and excellent customer service. I’m almost always hauling 800+ lbs and tow weekly or more.

I enjoy the ability to fine tune the suspensions load carrying characteristics via the airbags. I’ve had exactly zero leaks in 8 or 9 years of service, including removing the bags and reinstalling with the original air lines left in place and reused. The key is getting a clean, square cut in the airlines while installing them. They make a nice, cheap little razor blade tool specifically for that purpose but I used a regular old razor blade to cut them when I originally installed them.
