    Hello,

    Ive got a 2002 Tundra half-cab v6 2wd.

After our recent rain storm my lights wouldn't turn off when I would open the door after turning off the truck. I came to realize there was water ever so slowly dripping from my driver side fuse box :/

So after some digging on the internet I found that the clips holding my windshield wiper cowl to the frame had lost all of its gasket so i decided to seal all of them up with some silicone in hopes that it would stop the leaking. The water was such a small amount and I couldnt pin-point exactly where it was coming from so fingers crossed.

But now my airbag light has come on and goes away when I start the truck. It stays on when the truck is off aswell. It randomly decides to turn on and off like theres a loose wire or something but im assuming it has something to do with the moisture around my fuse box.

Im worried that my airbag is going to deploy. What should I be doing to remedy this issue? I've woken up multiple times now to a dead battery. One night my lights decided to turn on in the middle of the night killing the battery. Electrical issues are frustrating so any help is appreciated.

pull the fuse box and check all the connections at the back of it. likely corrosion in the terminals. hopefully not broken, because there are no repair wires for airbag circuits

its best practice. it is a wee bit of a pain to get out, but not horrible

the airbag will not deploy. when the light comes on it means the system will not go off. theres fail safes so it doesnt go off unless needed
