Greetings all - are any of you fine, IT-literate people able to share a 3D print file for the little fitting required to add to the front air shutter grill motor?

I removed my air shutter grill due to a new Ironman Bumper and winch, resulting in flashing Christmas lights all over the dashboard and lots of annoying alarms. Adding this little fix seems to be the only way to give me some peace until I can find a way to refit the shutter grill.

Also, If anyone has recently discovered another way to fix this, I’d love to know.

Can’t you just leave the shutter motor connected without the shutters? (Even if you have to relocate it) This is what people do with the auto air dam. Just leave the motor only and plugged in. No lights/alarms

What made you have to remove the shutters? From what I had seen, it looked to be compatible with those just not the air dam

Even if you have an Ironman winch, the air shutter need to be trimmed. I have a WARN 12k winch which is bigger. The shutter assembly would need to be trimmed exactly where the motor housing is.

easy solution is to change the winch, but want to avoid that.

Gotcha. Even with a remote mounted control box it would need trimming?

I tried it plugged in and disconnected. The way it appears to work is that there is a sensor in the motor which stops it at 90 degree rotation. Others have made a 3D printed solution to trick the motor limit sensor
