    Good morning all,

I use my 2017 Tundra for pulling my Airstream travel trailer and found I need some extra lift due to trailer tongue weight and to smooth out the ride on bumpy roads.

I have installed Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 air bags and will be installing the air lift wirelessone 25980ez kit. Has anyone else installed this kit? Best location on the truck? Vertical or horizontal orientation? Use the Ubolt or use self-tapping screws?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have this on my truck. Horizontal install. Self tappers. Its located on the underside of the bed on a cross member. I made a rubber splash guard for it also. 2 years in Ohio salty winters and it's still working.

Thanks Andy. Seems to be a better idea than mounting on the frame. I looked and just can’t see a good place on the frame that would keep the compressor out of the elements and out of the tire splash zone.

Do you have any pictures of your install by chance?

Andy—thanks but don’t worry about pictures. I’m installing today once the compressor gets here. Enjoy the beach!

Check out Roadmaster Active Suspension Kit. I think it is better than air bags.

Thanks Marc but already installed the Airlift 5000 and the WirelessOne 25980ez. Working very well in conjunction with my Blue Ox WDH. Found a balance with 30 psi in the bags. I would highly recommend to anyone putting in bags to spend the extra $$ and install a remote controlled onboard compressor. It has made traveling with a travel trailer so much easier both while in transit and during hook and unhook. Being about to use my phone to lower and raise while I’m hooking and unhooking is fantastic!
