Hey everyone! I have a 2020 Tundra and have bags, wanting to add an air compressor but having a tough time trying to figure out where to install the compressor and mount the gauge. Any ideas??

There is an under hood mount for twin ARB compressors and I beleive SDHQ makes an under hood mount as well.

I run my compressors under the hood (ignore the mouse nest, it’s just the picture I took a while back and the only pic I have of the compressor).

As far as the gauge mounting goes, it depends on the gauge you have and how hidden or visible you want it to be. In the cab, by the compressor, in the bed?

I like it ... do you have to relocate anything to mount it?

Nope, fits into an existing open space.

I realized I never specified which mount I have, as most of them DO require some relocation.

I have the Bannock Built mount. If you wanna support them, here’s the link.

Here’s a forum member selling a painted used one.

I can’t recall if mine came with a bit of hardware (washers and nuts) for mounting the front lower legs or if that was reused from the truck. The back firewall mounts reused existing hardware and is a bear to get to with how tight and inaccessible it gets…but it’s doable.

Thank you. I thought I was done with mods for towing but onboard air makes sense.

So I'm thinking of mounting the compressor in front of the spare tire and then fabricating a shield of some sort. As for the gauge, I'm thinking about removing the driver's side tail light and in the bed drill out a 2 1/4" hole for the gauge there. Pics to come when I get back to the house and am around the truck. For now I've placed a shrader valve behind the fuel door and utilizing a tire inflator to air up the shocks. But to have the convenience of using an electric air pump would be next level.

    Too many mods to come
Dual arb compressors under the driver seat out the heat and elements. Power switch setup is now wired to my switch pro. Mounts from desert does it.
