I've always used microgard airfilters from Oreilly auto store , but was wondering what others use on their Tundras and also any insight on K&N washable reuseable air filters quality and if they are worth the expense?

    Pretty things
Had a K&N drop in filter courtesy of my Tundras previous owner (even bought one a couple decades back for a SAAB).

Never noticed a change in engine performance for either vehicle.

When I removed the K&N from the tundra and replaced it with a standard paper filter, an annoying, high pitched whistle disappeared, which I was very happy about.

8” BAMuffler, TRD airflow accelerator, front window tint/windshield sun stripe, debadged tailgate 4x4 emblem, trimmed mud flaps, antenna removed stainless screw added, TRD rear sway bar, AFE high flow air filter.
I have the oiled AFE filter in my 4.6 tundra along with the trd air flow accelerator, I think it helps. I took out the charcoal filter that’s attached to the top of the air box. I’ve always used KN in most of my vehicles in 20 years without any issues. I clean once a year or every 10K.
