Just picked up my new 1794 (Blueprint, Crewmax, short bed) 2 days ago and am working through the discovery of how it all works. One thing I can't find is info on the normal operation of that front air dam. I am curious if it pulls itself up and out of the way of high curbs when you are parking or does it wait until the transmission is put into park before it retracts. I suspect it lowers and raises at certain speeds but it is hard to confirm that. I do know that it is not supposed to deploy when connected to a trailer. Does anybody else know?

    Thanks!

It is speed operated. Parking lot speeds it should be retracted.
