Hi I am new to the forum because my tundra rarely has a problem or especially one I can't fix. It's a 2005 four-door limited two wheel drive. 4.7. my AC light would start blinking and cold air would stop blowing I could turn the button on and off and it would work sometimes for hours sometimes for minutes.
I immediately checked the pressures and all was good. I have changed the pressure switch and the thermal resistor and still no luck.
I can apply 12 volts directly to the compressor and the clutch still works good.
    Any ideas out there?
Thank you so much in advance for any insight.

What were the pressures you found on the low side and high side?

    320 is too high.

Take it to a place that can evacuate and properly recharge.

I do have a vacuum pump, I have always thought that is spot on for 90 degrees out. The system won't even give the compressor a chance to engage now. So it can't be that. Is there any known issues with the controller? Or any other things the controller senses besides the pressure and thermal resistor?

Actually, if you read the pressures by bypassing the pressure switch to engage the compressor, then your charge level may be ok.

Thank you for this. It's dumping rain outside but will check this soon. What is the amplifier BTW?

    It's the dash controls basically.

They used to be separate but now are an assembly.

FYI they are vehicle, trim and options specific, so getting an exact matching replacement would be necessary. If it's needed.

Good morning, just putting this out there because this helped me. I'm working on my 06 Tundra, and the compressor engages and runs for about 5 seconds then disengages. The AC light starts blinking. Went through the above check sheet, and B12- Ground doesn't give me 9 Vdc, found the compressor lock sensor shorted out. Temporarily wired a resistor in place and system works as should. Will still need to replace the compressor of course.

I am not getting any voltage at A14. Anybody have a diagram to know where that comes from?
