Hi everyone I have a 2007 tundra 5.7 with the dreaded air injection pump failure. I installed the rutech bypass and block off plates. Everything seemed good for a week or two then I got a o2 sensor code. Changed the o2 sensor now I get the same o2 code as well ass p0101 Mass air flow sensor? It seems suspicious to me that this is related to the bypass kit. I bought a new Mass air flow sensor but haven't installed it yet. I will say my truck was in last year for some recall work and they did mention they reflashed the ECU. If the ECU is reflashed is there nothing that can be done ? Do I need to remove the bypass and just fix the air injection system or is there a way to "unflash" so to speak? Any help would be appreciated!!

I wouldn’t think those new codes would be related. I don’t know much about the reflash interfering with the bypass. I thought I read somewhere that they don’t work together. Either you bypass it before it’s ever broken, or you do the reflash and have to repair it. It was never very clear to me.
