    Hello all!

looking at these AGP wheels, look like clones of TRD wheels.

anyone used them or recommend them?

    thanks in advance!

I guess they take the factory Lug nuts too, which is nice. Can swap out the stock center cap with TRD ones.

Yep, I've seen a few 3rd guys on here have them. First I've seen them in a 5 lug though.

I haven't seen them up close and in person, but they seem like decent enough reps.

Good looking wheel regardless of what year/Gen truck they're on.

I also looked at these AGP wheels last year when I was shopping for wheels. They're all over CL, ebay, Fb, etc. I was not able to obtain any reliable technical specs on the wheels and so I moved on, and glad I did. I bought FN Fx Pro wheels and they are absolutely great.

Dustin at FN Wheels has a general opinion that is worth a read at the bottom of his product pages: https://www.fnwheels.com/store/product/18-9-5-150-fn-wheels-ƒx-pro-set-of-four-wheels/. Dustin is widely regarded as trustworthy, knowledgable and a reliable source of information on wheels. This was my personal experience (and many others around here) buying from him.

Spray in Bed liner, 2-10”subs/400w.amp, tailgate shock, Tinted windows, seat covers, dash cover, CatShield, Fuel D538 20”wheels, Husky custom floor mats, TSC tool chest, leather seat covers.
While they look great I've heard that they can be hard to get balanced because of potential defects in the wheel, I believe they are chinese knockoffs and quality, load bearing, and longevity have all been called into question with these wheels.

Looking at the opinion piece and research it looks like it is a cheap wheel.

I might just go with Black Rhino for now, I found a set I really liked.

I got them in silver. I'm super in love with how the wheel looks for my vision of the truck. I'm waiting for my tires but I'll attach a pic of them on the ground. They look huge because they are in front of my wheels. But I'm going from 20" fuels with 33s to these 18s and 35s.

I would gladly pay double if they were quality name brand wheels.

BUT these have some paint quality issues that make me wonder about their overall quality. Nothing that will affect their overall look but one had a hair or fiber baked on. And all of them have paint issues around the lug holes.

I'm still going to run them because the lugs will cover the paint issues. The spoke design is very strong as far as load bearing goes (I know it's a copy of toyota). So I don't think these will fail miserably. But if I ever get a crack, I'm ditching them.

I bought a set of the AGP wheels in Bronze for my Tacoma two years ago. Wheels looked great and no issues whatsoever in the quality.

Made in China. Which doesn't bother me as most wheels are made in china. What bothers me is the lack of quality control. There's different tiers as far as brands choosing manufacturers go. AGP obviously chose the lowest bidder lol

Kinda wondering how they could sell each wheel for 199.

probably will look into method, race line, fuel, or black rhino more.

anyone have any wheels they like and had good luck with?

Check the build link in my signature.
Likely they are cast as opposed to the factory wheels that are forged. That would be a significant contributor to the reduced price. Cast aluminum can be very strong…and it can also be very weak - it’s all in the details of how it is done and what the quality control looks like. It can also be heavier - requiring more material to achieve the same strength as a forged product.
