Just found my passenger side rear bushing on my upper control arm has completely disintegrated.

not sure what happened but it has almost no bushing support on the rear portion of the arm. I ordered a total chaos replacement bushing set.

has anyone else found a replacement bushing that will work ?

    Alot of them
I'm not sure if those fit the stock UCA's or not. Someone will chime in on them.

The control arms are aftermarket tubular uca’s

they use they bushing kit from total chaos. Just after I ordered I found bushing at nexgen for about 1/2 price. CFB24C71-1499-40B4-8845-0F2532E87CFA.jpg43C5A848-67BF-48CC-B3C7-3C08B35660F0.jpg2644DFE4-3361-4CBC-BFBD-610039DC0C1C.jpg

I had mine on my 06 do the same thing

you have to lube them before pressing in

Also, you grease them with the upper control arm bolt LOOSE

Greasing with the bolt tight causes internal pressure and swelling. This results in the outside being broken/rubber off like your photos

What brand are those arms? Are they by chance Ebay knockoffs?

If they’re Ebay knockoffs you’ll want to Replace the inner metal spacer bushing that the long bolt goes through

They’re known for using standard dimensions which allow too much play .

You need metric inserts. I ripped 2 sets of bushings and had alignment issues until another member helped me identify the issue

I got my rebuild kit bushings and metal spacer bushings from Dirt King

I did follow greasing instructions. I did it loose and then tightened after greasing. Haven’t greased in about a year but there is still grease on the other side. Not sure what happened but this bushing has completely disintegrated

Grease the outside edge against the washers as well while installing. I used SuperLube as a grease for installation. I also used a popsicle stick to grease in between washers each time i lubed them

Are the arms Ebay or generic knockoffs? If so,It could be you have other issues as well

just re-read your post. Thanks for the info. Yes. They were the knock offs and yes they have been more trouble then they were worth. Already replaced the misalignments and hardware and now I see the uniballs are rusting.

I ordered bushings but didn’t order the sleeves so I will go ahead and order those also.
Probably going to be without my truck for 4-5 days

By the time I replace the bushings and all the hardware it would have been way easier to just pay more upfront for something quality

Don’t feel bad. You’re not the only one who has been bit by that. I had the exact same situation happen to me,and only figured it out with the help of other members.

Correct metal bushing inserts and new poly bushings should get you on the right track.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing!
