Hi everyone. I'm new here. I recently had my stock stereo just die. Its a computer problem. Fuses all good connections all good. Anyway I'm looking to get an aftermarket model to go in its place. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I’m on the same path. This is a black hole of options, price point, etc. I’m leaning toward a decent Kenwood unit from Crutchfield.

My biggest concern is which aftermarket stereo is going to facilitate all the options my truck has. Will my in dash wiring be able to connect to their adapters? Has anyone done this yet?

It’s been done a lot. Call crutchfield or one of the forum sponsors. They make plug and play adapters to reuse just about everything in the truck, except the OE XM antenna from I read.

I’m not sure if they are sponsoring but at least we’ll known here. Tech 12 Volts, taco tunes, oem plus. I have no affiliation or experience with them, yet.
