Aftermarket remote start w/ CEL

    Hey, so I’m wanting to install a remote start in the future. Either 12v solutions, or a cheaper viper kit. I have a. CEL for my catalytic converters. Will remote start still work with a CEL or would I have to have it tuned out. I’ve tried the spark plug gap truck but still have a light. Next step is to rtv it, but the point is, will the remote start still work with a CEL?

    It should still work with CEL. I have aftermarket remote start on my Camry with CEL light on. (for evap canister)
