    After installing the following;

Sony XAV-AX4000 (I mainly use wireless CarPlay)
    iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR module
    iDatalink HRN-HRR-TO2
    iDatalink ACC-HU-SON1
iDataLink ACC-SAT-T02 Toyota Satellite Radio and GPS Shark Fin Antenna Adapter
    Metra 99-8252 Dash Kit
    Metra 40-LX11 Antenna Adapter

The head unit works great (but has shown the deficiencies with the factory speakers), including the steering wheel controls, but now the display between the main gauges on the dash shows the Navigation option. I'm assuming it thinks navigation is present from the canbus on the maestro unit. However the display is blank.

I'm guessing it's blank as it won't talk to CarPlay apps, so how do you get rid it from the dash display? Will it be an option on the maestro setup?

It's not a big deal, bit my OCD wants it gone.

Pretty sure with the factory navigation installed this displays next turn guidance or the compass.

I changed my head unit and installer got the tire pressure signal from the OBD port. Last week my son used the truck and somehow ripped the wire out. Any one can point out in what pin on the one port I will find the tire pressure signal?

Do you want the nav and the compass icons gone from the cluster? If that is so, disconnect the battery terminals for about 5 to 10 minutes, then reconnect and the icons will be gone. If you want to restore the icons, you have to connect the OEM radio back to the truck. The only aftermarket radio I have seen that talks to those icons is the Phoenix Android 10 tesla radio

Yes, that's the screen I want gone as that display is blank. I tried the battery disconnect but it's still there. Maestro support said the truck sees navigation present but there's no data to display, there's no option in Maestro to turn that off. May have to connect up the OEM radio that doesn't have navigation to make it gone.

Ok so disconnecting the instrument cluster J28 cable from the truck will get rid of the icons, I know that because I have disconnected my 2018 cluster many times and the nav and music icons on the cluster disappear, and then when I connect my factory radio back, it restores the icons, I run an aftermarket radio as well so my nav and music icons don’t work either. I’ll shoot a video to demonstrate later on today

I went ahead and recorded a video for you
First photo shows factory OEM installed and icons work E3A19729-AF3D-4EC2-8B45-1582E1D5766D.jpg

Second Pic shows my aftermarket radio with icons still present but they do NOT work

Here is the YouTube video showing you how to remove it. After I remove the J28 connector and I reconnect it again, the icons are gone when I start the truck

Wow, awesome work! And props for filming that one handed! Certainly looks like the fix to me. Just need the motivation to dig into the dash to get to that plug.

Cheers for putting that together. Much appreciated.

So you are wanting to know which pin on the connector that the brown wire goes to?
